TPF is involved in the implementation of the roads component of the "Pact for Colombia"
This Plan foresees actions aimed at improving seven corridors, i.e. a total of 600 km of roads.
In a consortium with ICEAC SA Grupo, TPF has been awarded the contract for the construction and maintenance, social and environmental sustainability of the Ruta de los Comuneros (road corridor Zipaquirá – Barbosa – Bucaramanga; Girón – Piedecuesta), one of the most awaited road extensions.
This project will contribute to the economic development of the central region which is oriented towards agricultural and dairy production. It will improve traffic fluidity and the mobility of the inhabitants of the areas bordering the project.
Also included in the works is the construction of a second carriageway of approximatively 27 km aiming to offfer high levels of operational service by increasing road safety and boosting the commrercialisation of local products.
