The Madrid Transport Authority has entrusted TPF with the adaptation of the safety measures for Madrid’s underground interchange stations, so that they can be used by both vehicles powered by CNG and fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV) powered by hydrogen.
The scope included Madrid´s main urban interchange stations (Avenida de América, Plaza Elíptica, Moncloa, Plaza de Castilla and Príncipe Pío) add up to a total surface of 191.300 m2 reaching a maximum of four underground levels.
The technical study carried out by TPF included architecture, civil works, MEP systems (fire protection system, ventilation and smoke exhaust systems, electrical system, video-surveillance and public address systems)
